The Honō no Tōkyūjo: Dodge Danko anime, a sequel to the Honō no Tōkyūji Dodge Danpei manga, introduces 18 cast members, including Manaka Nakayama as Danko Ichigeki, Kaori Maeda as Chinko Kobotoke, Akira Sekine as Mochiko Etai, Yō Taichi as Susan Canon, and more. The anime will premiere on July 6 on Tokyo MX and BS11, with MBS following on July 7. Directed by Hiroshi Ikehata, the series features a talented cast and crew, including Kazuho Hyōdō for series scripts, Narihito Sekikawa for character design, and Girl group Momoiro Clover Z performing the opening theme song. Additional staff members include color key artist Ryō Kimura, art director Masahiro Satō, and music composers Yasunori Iwasaki and Ren Tsukagoshi. The anime will explore the struggles of Danko, Danpei's daughter, in creating the strongest dodgeball team in the Reiwa era, with Noriko Hidaka reprising her role as Danpei in past scenes and narrating the sequel.
